The Aquatic Life 150 GPD hydroponic RO reverse osmosis system is designed to provide a reliable source of up to 150 gallons per day of filtered water. This reverse osmosis filter system effectively reduces harmful matter from water, such as chlorine, heavy metals, and total dissolved solids.

The unit includes two carbon chambers, ensuring the tap water is treated properly before reaching the membrane. The first chamber contains a Carbon Block that removes chlorine, while the second chamber has a Carbon Plus cartridge that removes chloramines.

The clear canister that holds the 5-micron sediment cartridge makes it easy to monitor the condition and know when it's time to replace the cartridge. This is particularly helpful in areas with high iron or silt content.

The pre-plumbed Automatic Shut-Off (ASO) will shut off the incoming water supply when the filtered water line is turned off. For example, when filling a barrel with RO water and the fill valve is turned off once the barrel is full, the ASO will stop the incoming water from flowing through the unit and exiting the waste line.

The system comes with a manual on/off valve and a float valve, allowing you to either turn off the water when your container or sump is full or control the flow manually. The float valve requires drilling a 7/8" hole in your container to install. All press fittings use the industry-standard 1/4" tubing size.

To prolong the membrane life and save you money, the Classic Hydroponics unit includes a built-in flush valve. Simply open the valve for a minute prior to making RO water, and this will help "flush" away any buildup on the membrane.

The Aquatic Life 150 GPD RO unit is designed to work with the Aquatic Life Smart Buddie 150 GPD Booster Pump, sold separately. Adding the pump to the RO unit saves water and prolongs the membrane life.

The Sediment cartridge traps dirt and debris, while the Carbon and Carbon Plus cartridges remove chlorine and chloramines from tap water prior to membrane filtration. The RO water filter unit uses a single high-efficiency 150 GPD Membrane cartridge.

The built-in wall bracket allows the RO water filtration system unit to be hung and secured in place. An auto shut-off valve stops the incoming water supply when the outflow is turned off. The system also includes a garden hose faucet adapter to connect to any standard 3/4" faucet.
